About Me:
Multi-sport athlete
I train my body to be a jack of all trades when it comes to activities. I don't specialize. I like to be able to have the cardio for endurance based sports like swimming, running, or climbing. While at the same time having some strength to lift or pull heavy objects and hold my own in a wrestling match. Some other pillars of fitness I focus on are calisthenics and stretching. I love me some yoga and believe it's very important for one to have the ability to throw their body weight around e.g. pulls and push ups.
Gamer at heart
Gaming has always been a true love of mine. I would say it's the one thing I've been addicted to, to the point of being unhealthy. I'm happy to report that I fixed that and I've developed a healthy relationship with gaming. I will continue to play till the day I die. Some of my life long favorites have to be COD World at War, Minecraft, Battlefield 3, Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach, Ark Survival Evolved, and GTA 5.
Traveler extraordinaire
Traveling has had the largest impact on who I am as a person today. It teaches so much in such a compact amount of time. The hardships, laughs, new people, loneliness, lack of privacy all of this and more combined makes for such amazing life experiences. I've been taught empathy, culture, problem solving, social skills, and so much more from traveling. I'm addicted to it. I won't stop. I love the good and the bad it brings. I joined the Navy simply because I was broke and was dying to travel. Some of my favorite places I've been are Kyoto, Japan | Vienna, Austria | Lyon, France | Bilbao, Spain | Oporto, Portugal |Vancouver, Canada | Austin, Texas | San Diego, California.
Hacker in the making
This is a very new journey to me and I'm completely enthralled. The more I learn the more my curiosity grows, along with my thinking becoming increasingly logical. My fascination with the field is far reaching, I enjoy learning and experimenting with basic electricity, computing hardware e.g. gaming pc, development operations, information technology e.g. homelabbing, robotics, AI, web development, data science. It's just all so vast and exciting. It took me a while but I'm happy I found my field of trade. I credit The Innovators and Code to being the spark of this journey.
